Next up are the Staten Island boys. There are 8 teams on the island and 6 of them have won a City Championship in their storied histories. Brooklyn Boys
Next up are the Brooklyn boys. Three different Brooklyn programs have won City Championships this century, but only one (Brooklyn Tech) can lay claim to three straight titles to start this decade. Queens Boys
We’ll start with the Queens boys, which has historically been the weakest of the Boroughs. The highest a Queens boys team has finished at the City Championship since 2021 is 9th: The Academy of American Studies in 2024 and Francis Lewis in 2023. The last Queens boys program to qualify for the Federation meet was Metropolitan Campus, who finished 4th in 2019. Early Season Recap
The first two weekends of the season are in the books. We are still not sure of the best way to cover the indoor season since it lacks real team aspect. So here goes. Boys 600 Meter Run - City Auto (and Secondary) Qualifying Standard: 1:29.14 (1:29.91) At the Gobbler Classic, the Freshman race was won by Alexander Riley of JFK Campus.
