Staten Island Boys
Next up are the Staten Island boys. There are 8 teams on the island and 6 of them have won a City Championship in their storied histories. This century, MSIT, Curtis and Susan Wagner have raised a banner. From the late 1960s to the 2010s, Staten Island was the dominant borough in PSAL Boys Cross Country. Brooklyn Boys
Next up are the Brooklyn boys. Three different Brooklyn programs have won City Championships this century, but only one (Brooklyn Tech) can lay claim to three straight titles to start this decade. Three different Brooklyn programs have finished in the top ten this decade. Six different programs have qualified for the City Championship. Queens Boys
We’ll start with the Queens boys, which has historically been the weakest of the Boroughs. The highest a Queens boys team has finished at the City Championship since 2021 is 9th: The Academy of American Studies in 2024 and Francis Lewis in 2023. The last Queens boys program to qualify for the Federation meet was Metropolitan Campus, who finished 4th in 2019.
